Jonathan Carey Design Ltd is currently working towards achieving ISO 9001 and is constantly updating the internal systems to monitor working conditions, quality of products and overall efficiency in order to achieve the best for the company and all employees. The systems are constantly monitored and then updated as required in order to improve our service to our customers.

Quality Policy Statement

Jonathan Carey design manufactures extremely high quality furniture which is tailor made to suite individual clients needs. The quality of the product goes hand in hand with the service provided by every individual employed by JCD, from the moment the initial enquiry is placed to final project handover and after care policy.

Heavy scrutinizing of our supply chain is of paramount importance to;

  1. Ensure all materials are environmentally friendly and sustainable
  2. Ensure that order deadlines can be constantly achieved, ensuring our time constraints are adhered to.
  3. Ensure that you the client get value for money

All orders are placed using a purchase order system, ensuring traceable evidence of agreements about delivery schedules. By establishing clear contracts and progress chasing measures, lasting and reliable partnerships can be formed.

A significant percentage of JCD’s work is made up of repeat business, testimony to our ability to complete work on time and a standard that exceeds the client’s expectation.

Constant analysis of our competitors enables us to set benchmarks relevant to our own performance and organisation. JCD is currently working towards ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditation and is implementing a number of procedures and questionnaires to ensure this is in place.

Business Mission

Jonathan Carey Design Ltd is committed to constantly improving its impact on the environment through considerate design, working with the client in the initial stages. To start manufacturing we endeavour to source sustainable raw products from reputable suppliers, particularly suppliers who are members of the FSC group.

During manufacture the works are completed as efficiently as possible, reducing wastage and chemical use. We are improving our disposal rates and are constantly reviewing ways of recycling waste to help the environment and company.

  • Impact created by our suppliers.

Our Commitment;

Every employee of Jonathan Carey Design Ltd will work towards meeting and surpassing the requirements of our environmental policy. An open forum for feedback allows improvements and quick responses to constantly improve our impact on the environment.

  • Sales and design is thoughtful and considerate with regards to timber selected and sourced from sustainable sources, most are FSC awarded suppliers.
  • Office products are purchased from sustainable sources and some are recycled where possible. The use of paper is reduced wherever possible.
  • We group together transport takes between suppliers and end deliveries to reduce vehicle environmental pollution. Vehicles are specified to have efficient fuel usage and lower pollution levels.
  • Non-sustainable packaging materials are reused wherever possible. Recyclable and reusable products are used wherever possible.
  • Chemicals used in the finishing process are all subject to COSHH regulations and where possible the empty containers and any waste are sent back to the suppliers to dispose of safely.
  • Our waste created in the factory and on site is collated and responsibly disposed of by JCD either at the factory of within arranged skip containers managed by our site attendants.
  • To work with our suppliers to improve their impact on the environment in relation to all our works and relevant works.
